Now you get to put some things into practice! You’re going to send ME an email!

Open your email, put my address into the address bar, type a subject, then write me an email. In your email, I want you to tell me some stuff.

  • How is email to a teacher different from one you are sending to a friend?
  • Is it wise to use “Reply all?” Why or why not?
  • Does spelling count? Why or why not?
  • How is an email different from sending a text to someone?
  • What are some advantages and disadvantages of email? This isn’t spelled out for you, so you’ll have to think about this one a little.
  • Tell me some other cool stuff you learned

Last, but not least, don’t forget to SEND it!

How do you know you sent it? Look on the left side of your screen. You will see a list of folders there. One says “sent.” Click on it. You can always find out if an email sent successfully because it will show up here.
